The Ceramics Workshop at Rossmoor
Ceramics were started in Rossmoor in the late 1990s, and has been an important part of our wish to create beautiful objects ever since. Below are a series of these creations shown in a recent community exhibition.

Though these represent the work of very capable artisans, this is not the sole aim of the group. A desire to teach newcomers the art of ceramics is very important to the group, and instruction at even beginner level is readily available in the workshop. Another aim of the group is camaraderie and we love to socialize.

The Ceramics Studio is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to noon. On Tuesdays from 1 PM to 4PM, a Pottery option is offered. Thursdays 8:30 AM to noon, and 6:30 PM to 9 PM. Contact the Rossmoor E&R department to be put in touch with the ceramics group leaders to get started on this wonderful skill.
